1. Who are you?
I'm Minttu, 25 years old (soon 26) seamstress-to-be from Finland
2. What are the 3 most important things everyone should know about you?
one: I'm not as social and outgoing as everyone thinks.
two: don't try to talk sense to me in the mornings, you won't get through.
three: very often I don't show that you've hurt my feelings or made me angry. but that
doesn't mean you've never done that.
3. When you aren't filling out 5,000 question surveys like this one what are you doing?
reading, writing, drinking tea, designing webpages, sewing bags or clothes, knitting socks and such, cross stitching, painting or drawing ATCs or preparing some other
swap packages for mailing.
4. List your classes in school from the ones you like the most to the ones you like the least (or if you are out of school, think of the classes you did like and didn't like at the time).

5. What is your biggest goal for this year?
keep my life organized and complete the things I begin.
6. Where will you be in 5 years?
my life tends to take me to places I least expect, so I'll guess a couple different scenarios.
one: I have graduated from my current school and am working in a theater as a costume maker.
two: I'm studying costume/ fashion design abroad.
three: I have a child.
four: I've changed my career completely once again.
7. What do you want to be when you grow up?
mother. wife. film director. film editor. cinematographer. therapist. archeologist. psychologist.
researcher. writer. web designer. photographer. anthropologist. journalist. dog-owner. fashion designer. costume designer.
seamstress. entrepreneur. artist. good person.
8. Are you more child-like or childish?
child-like both in appearance and behaviour. I don't want to ever become one of those boring adults
who can't remember how to be silly once in a while.
9. What is the last thing you said out loud?
"I wish that El laberinto del fauno would win as many Oscars as it is nominated for."

11. Have you ever taken martial arts classes?
nope. although my ex-boyfriend tried quite hopelessly teach me some basics.
12. Does your life tend to get better or worse or does it just stay the same?
all of them. my life is a rollercoaster with occational long flat periods.
13. Does time really heal all wounds?
no. there are some wounds that will never heal entirely.
14. How do you handle a rainy day?
I love rainy days. they give an excuse to be lazy and uneffective the whole day.
my survival technique includes many big cups of tea, comfy clothes and a pile of good books.
15. Which is worse...losing your luggage or having to sort out tangled holiday lights?
losing one's luggage. on the way there, you have to wear the sweaty travel clothes until your bag finally arrives
and on the way back all your souveniers will be in the luggage that got missing. besides tangled lights are fun to
sort out.
16. How is your relationship with your parents? Will you miss them when they are gone?
my parents are wonderful and I love them with their faults and all. with mum we talk about pretty much everything
and she sees through me so there really is no point holding things back from her. with dad we debate about politics,
philosophy and everything in between.
17. Do you tend to be aware of what is going on around you?
otherwise yes, but it's about someone liking me, I most often just don't have a clue.
18. What is the truest thing that you know?
caring. it's something you can't fake for yourself. it can make you feel so good that you don't know
which way to be and it can blacken your whole life if the object of your affection doesn't care much for you.
19. What do you want your life to be like, as the future takes clearer shape?
I want to find a school that inspires me rather than this joke of an education I get at the moment. I
want a dog to keep me company. I also would like to finally have a boyfriend, even if just for a little while.
20. Have you ever been given a second chance?
yes. quite recently.
21. Are you more of a giver or a taker?
in my own humble opinion: GIVER. I give and give and give and then at some point realise that I'm
not getting anything in return.
22. Do you make your decisions with an open heart?
is there something in my life that I wouldn't do with an open heart?
23. What is the most physically painful thing that has ever happened to you?
blood poisoning & kidney infection merged into one big fever and back pain
24. What is the most emotionally painful thing that has ever happened to you?
year 2001 in its all entirety (4 funerals) and the follow-up (break-up with Nigel).

the doggies :)
26. Who has done something today to show they care about you?
mum went to work so that she can take me to Turku tomorrow morning. the darling.
27. Do you have a lot to learn?
yes. probably ten times more than what I imagine.

ho other people make me feel. I always trust the first impressions.

mutual trust. lots of love. sprinkle of passion.
ability to talk things through and listen what the other one is really saying.
